SOFT KABÁT EUROPHORIA TOUR 2012 VIDEO

Almost five months later since the incredibly memorable and amazing Soft Riot/N?i Kabát “Europhoria” tour across Europe in June, time for few sessions was found to hunker down and sort through a few hours of rambling, incoherent footage to splice together this 14 minute “mini-film” about the experience. It contains segments of the live performances in Berlin, Budapest, Prague and Vienna as well as well as incidental footage from the road. Incidental music provided by our friends in Gertrud Stein, Team Pi$$, Mild Peril, Linea Aspera, Guyer’s Connection, A Terrible Splendour and Lebanon Hanover. Thanks to all those involved and do share…

FICTION PREDICTION / NOVEMBER TOUR

SOFT RIOT Fiction Prediction cover

Originally posted 25 Sept 2012 / Revised 24 Oct 2012

Here’s peek at the cover for the upcoming album Fiction Prediction. This is proudly being released on the Other Voices label, responsible for some pretty stellar output by artists such as Eleven Pond, Tobias Bernstrup, Attrition, The Silicon Scientist and more. Check out the Other Voices website at www.othervoicesrecords.com. This will be out in LP/CD/Cassette and digital format. Note that the tracklisting may differ from the various formats it’s slated to be released on. Previews of tracks are in the works and ordering information should be announced a bit later this fall.

A few extras are to be provided with the release as digital only extras: including some extended mixes of a couple of tracks for those looking to squeeze a little extra juice out of the tracks when playing them in a more lively environment; such as a club, a celebration, or an exorcism in one’s own home.

This will follow shortly after the No Longer Stranger re-release (vinyl/digital) on Volar Records at the tail end of this year.

In the LIVE EVENTS section information on shows with LEBANON HANOVER can be found. Cities confirmed are Freiburg (DE), Zürich (CH), Luzern (CH) and St. Gallen (CH).

A RETURN FROM THE FOUR CITIES

After numerous days, thousands of kilometers on motorways, many new faces, new cities and late nights, SOFT RIOT is back in London after a whirlwind 4-date tour with N?i Kabát. The shows in Berlin, Budapest, Prague and Vienna were fantastic and thanks to the promoters, hosts and attendees who came or helped both acts out.

Some additional photos or videos will likely materialize on this site or the Soft Riot Facebook page in the coming days/weeks/eons.

The photo to the left is Soft Riot performing live in Budapest at the Toldi Klub. It was shot by the talented György Cserkúti. More photos of his can be found at www.facebook.com/cserkutiphotography.

Below is some footage of the track “A Simulation” (to be included on the upcoming No Longer Stranger re-release) shot by Maria Ostermann in Vienna at Future Echo.

Thanks again and much love and respect. Let’s do it again sometime.
