All of the remixes are now in and yes, the “Another Drone In Your Head” extended signal is out this Friday on Tundra Dubs. It can be previewed below or purchasable from Tundra‘s BandCamp website followed by iTunes in the coming weeks.

In this month of February 2012 there are number of things happening. First, Soft Riot 38mm badges will be available for purchase. You can pre-order them now through the new STORE page or you can pick them up at any one of the upcoming shows in the UK and mainland Europe.
A lot studio work going on this month. A remix for Babe Rainbow (Warp Records) has been completed and should be public sometime soon. Another re-working of a track has been done; this time in the field of video game soundtracks, and a classic one at that. Just finishing up is a re-w0rking of incidental music by Hiroki Kikuta from the classic Squaresoft RPG game The Secret of Mana – a track called “The Holy Intruder” – will be released this spring on an upcoming compilation on the Aural Sects label. Again more information on that to come but here’s the original “loop” of the music at the bottom of this announcement.
Finally, the “Another Drone In Your Head” EP is about to be released. All of the remixes from the artists are now in and previews and places to purchase will be announced here soon.
Happy 2012 everyone and fresh into the new year you can now preview the three main original tracks from the upcoming Another Drone In Your Head EP coming out in late February on the Tundra Dubs label. This EP will contain five remixes by artists Funerals, Babe Rainbow, ?AIMON, Chris Flatline and William Winslow-Hansen which will be added to this preview later this month.
Ah, 2012. Those digits alone look monumental with attachments to the cryptic Mayan calendar and also pre-dating the fictional storyline to the album 2112 by Rush by one hundred years. Whatever events this four digital number may entail, a small fraction of good news is that a new Soft Riot extended single, entitled “Another Drone In Your Head” will be coming out on the new label home of Tundra Dubs, a new San Francisco label that has been gathering steam over the last year with releases by Funerals, ΔAIMON, I††, Black Jeans, et al. Expect a January/February 2012 release date which will come soon.
This release will be a start of more music to come in 2012, released in a digital format with three new tracks plus remixes by various artists which will be announced soon as those details are being worked out behind the scenes at the moment. In the meantime, if you’re in the London UK area, there’s a couple of shows coming up that you can come to and get sucked into by viewing the LIVE EVENTS section.
